Nicholas Young, PhD founded The Inflammation Foundation as a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization in 2017. Dr. Young is a research scientist with experience in medical microbiology, immunology, cancer biology, and rheumatology. His research focuses on translational science with a bench-to-bedside scope of work.
Inflammation is the body’s normal response to defend itself against foreign invaders. However, sometimes this response is inadvertently triggered, which results in an inflammatory disease.
While inflammation plays an integral role in many diseases and physiological processes, our research efforts are directed toward the fields of rheumatology and autoimmune disease, exercise science, health and wellness, and cancer. This work is focused on both understanding the inflammatory mechanism(s) and developing anti-inflammatory treatments to suppress the response.
As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, 100% of the money contributed will go directly to supporting The Inflammation Foundation and to reaching the goals outlined in our mission statement. All donations are tax deductible. Please follow the link below to make a secure donation through PayPal.
